Please read through these resources and become familiar with the material before completing the online Pre-learning assessment and attending your Training Event. You'll want to do this as it'll make the exercises a lot easier and reduce any temptation to guess.

You should also print off the documents and feel free to make notes on them as you go through them. Make sure you bring them with you to your Training Event.

You should complete your Pre-learning and online assessment as soon as possible. 

The online assessment should be completed at least seven days before your Training Event, to allow us time to provide you with feedback on the results.

Please set aside about three hours to read the material and complete the simple assessment.

Completing the pre-learning will help enhance the training delivery at the Training Event, because the information provided will not be covered in any detail at the forthcoming Training Event. Note however, that the Pre-learning and Post-learning assessments will have questions associated with the content of the Pre-learning.

Apart from a number of multiple choice questions to answer, the Pre-learning online assessment also asks you to submit any comments you may have about the 16 new/amended hire boat ECPs. Any comments you have will help us ensure the Training Event covers the subject thoroughly.

You will receive feedback on your online assessment if it is completed at least seven days before your Training Event.

You won’t receive any further emails from us, unless your assessment results show you do not have a thorough understanding of the Pre-learning material.

Our expectation is that that you will get all the questions right, because you’ll have the answers in front of you. But if you don’t, you may be contacted and asked to read through the material again and re-submit your answers.

I hope you glean a lot from  the pre-learning and feel fully prepared for the Training Event and able to get the maximum out of the day.
